Energy Smoothie Bowl

Energy Smoothie Bowl
Makes 1 Bowl
If you want something easy (maybe not easy😂) but filling this is for you. An energy smoothie bowl packed full of nutrients. This smoothie bowl has all the groups you need in a balanced breakfast like protein from the chickpeas, fiber from the oats and, coffee butter for healthy fats. This will keep you full and satisfied until your next meal (hopefully🤪). All you need is a handful of ingredients like freshly brewed coffee, banana (preferably frozen), ice (coffee ice cubes would be better I didn't have any on hand lol), coffee butter(which will be in the next post on how to make it) or any nut butter, coconut sugar or maple syrup, yogurt(I used coconut yogurt but whichever you like), chickpeas(trust me it tastes better than it sounds 🙂), and some oats. Okay so maybe not a handful of ingredients lol😂

Ingredients:
- 1 shot of espresso (cooled)
- 1 banana (frozen if you like)
- handful of ice cubes (coffee ice cubes would be better, about 3 or 4 depending on how big they are)
- 1/4 cup of oats
- 1/8 cup of coffee butter or nut butter
- 1 or 2 tablespoons of coconut sugar or maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like it. I prefer a bit bitter)
- 1/4 cup of chickpeas
- 1/2 cup of yogurt (if you want you could use Greek yogurt for more added protein)

Directions:
1. In a blender, add all the ingredients. Blend until nice and smooth.
2. Then pour in a bowl, and add whatever toppings you like. I put berries, coconut flakes, chia seeds, and granola.

Well, I hope you enjoy making this energy smoothie bowl.😊
