Café Hazelnut Biscotti

Café Hazelnut Biscotti
Makes 20 Biscotti


You know when you want something with your coffee, but don't know what? This biscotti is perfect, it has great flavours, like hazelnut and a hint of coffee. All you need are a few ingredients.






Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tablespoon of hazelnut flavour syrup
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoon of instant coffee or espresso powder
- A handful of chopped almonds (optional)
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 350°F. In a stand mixer, add the oil, sugar, eggs, syrup, and instant coffee. (Not how I did lol I put it with the dry ingredients🤦‍♀️) Mix until combined. Then, add the rest of the ingredients to the mixer, mix until it forms a ball. (Like cookie dough)

2. Divide the dough into two even balls. On a lined baking sheet, press the two balls, making two even oval shapes make sure they're 1/2 inch thick. (Like mine they're very unique, like me 😂) bake them for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

3.  After it's baked, cut them 1 inch thick, making 20. Place the cut side down and bake for another 4-6 minutes until golden, and then again on the other side.


There you have it, a coffee hazelnut biscotti all ready to enjoy. Hope you like them 😀
