Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Pumpkin Spice Syrup
Makes 2 small jars (50mls) about 8 servings.

Fall is here, which means fall recipes. This week I made a pumpkin spice syrup which I think is really good lol. I find it's not too sweet and, has a mild pumpkin spice flavor (depends on how much you put in). All you need are a few ingredients, so let's get started.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- splash of vanilla
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin spice
- pinch of salt

Directions
1. In a small saucepan on medium heat, add everything except the vanilla extract. Whisk everything until the sugar has dissolved. It should take about 10 to 15 minutes, and the sauce should become a little thick (it will thicken when it cools too). Take the pan off the heat and let it cool. After it's slightly cooled, add in the vanilla. Then pour in your jars. I got mine off Amazon, 50mls jars they're a pack of 6.

There you have it a pumpkin spice syrup ready to enjoy.  I made a latte and an iced macchiato with this syrup. They're very simple to make.

Pumpkin Spice Latte
- 2 shots of espresso
- frothed milk
- 1 tablespoon of the syrup
1. Brew your 2 shots of espresso.
2. Froth your milk of choice with the syrup.
3. Pour frothed milk into your mug. There you have it, a pumpkin spice latte ready to enjoy.
Iced Pumpkin Spice Macchiato
- glass full of ice
- 2 shots of espresso
- milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon of syrup
1. Fill glass full of ice.
2. Add milk and syrup to your glass, about 3/4 way full, and mix.
3. Pour the coffee slowly into your glass.
There you have it a iced pumpkin spice macchiato ready to enjoy. Hope you enjoy making this as I did creating it.
