Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes about 2 dozen cookies

As the weekend is coming why not make these hazelnut chocolate chip cookies. They'll be a perfect start to your weekend. They're simple to make and all you need are a few ingredients.
What you need
- large bowl
- spatula
- baking sheets
- silicone mats or parchment paper
Ingredients
- 1 cup melted salted butter (I used vegan butter)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 baking soda
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- splash of vanilla extract (1/2 teaspoon)
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Make sure your rack is on the middle shelf.
2. In a large bowl, add butter and sugars mix until combined. Then, add egg, vanilla, baking powder, and baking soda mix until combined. Then, add half the flour mix then the other half, mix until there is no dry flour and it forms a dough. Then add hazelnuts and chocolate.
3. After the cookie dough is made, line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats. Take a heaping teaspoon of dough and roll in a ball. Then, lightly press them down (not too much).
4. After they're all formed, bake them for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Let them cool for five minutes.
There you have it, freshly baked cookies ready to eat and serve.
